Privacy Policy

XTARQ ("Tarq") is a technical-analysis and educational tool for the crypto, forex and gold markets. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app, why, who else sees it, and how you stay in control. We have tried to write it plainly; if anything is unclear, write to support@xtarq.app.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

• This policy covers the XTARQ mobile app and its web pages (such as this one).
• It does not cover the "external broker" we may refer you to through a referral link. The broker is an independent company with its own privacy policy; whatever you enter on its platform is governed by its policy, not ours.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

• Account data: your name, email address and password. The password is stored hashed; nobody, including us, can read it.
• Preferences: app language (Arabic/English) and the experience level you choose.
• Daily usage counters: how many signals and image analyses you used today, so we can apply your tier limits.
• What you create in the app: strategies you build, simulated (paper) trades and your paper-bot settings.
• Chart images: images you upload voluntarily for AI analysis. They are stored on our server together with the analysis result.
• Broker account ID: if you choose to activate a tier, you voluntarily enter your account ID (Trader ID) at the external broker. We use it only to verify activation and set your tier.
• In-app notifications: the notifications we send you and whether you have read them.
• Verification codes: temporary codes emailed to you to confirm your account or reset your password; they expire automatically.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not collect your location.
• We do not access your contacts.
• We do not use advertising trackers, ad networks or advertising identifiers.
• We do not ask for card details and we never hold funds; there are no in-app payments.

4. Why we use your data

• To create, sign in to and protect your account.
• To show signals and analyses and run the paper bot with your settings.
• To enforce tier limits (signals and image analyses per day).
• To verify tier activation through the broker ID you entered.
• To send verification codes and in-app notifications.
• To answer your support requests.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

5. Who else processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers, each receiving only what it needs for its task:

• Email delivery service: receives your email address and name to deliver verification codes and account messages.
• AI provider for image analysis: when you upload a chart image, the image is sent to the provider for analysis only; we do not send your name or email with it.
• Market data providers: we fetch prices and candles from them; they receive no data about you.
• Hosting: our server and database run on a cloud server in the United Kingdom, where your data is stored.
• Web page fonts: these web pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the font provider may log your browser's IP address under its own policy.

We may disclose data where the law or a lawful request from a competent authority requires it.

6. How long we keep your data

• We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
• When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted: the account, preferences, strategies, simulated trades, chart images and their results, broker ID and notifications.
• Verification codes expire automatically within minutes.

7. Your rights and how to use them

• Access: you can see your account data on the "My Account" screen.
• Correction: you can change your name, language and experience level in the app, or write to us to correct anything you cannot edit yourself.
• Deletion: in the app, go to My Account, then Delete my account; your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently. Or email support@xtarq.app from your registered address.

Exercising these rights is free of charge.

8. Security

• Data travels between the app and our server over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Access to the server and database is limited to the operations team.

No system is 100% secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you at your registered email.

9. Age

The app is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete any such account we become aware of.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the "Last updated" date above and show the new version in the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you have seen it.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Personal Data Protection Law.
